TAPAS/Thinking About the past gathers your data because you make use of our newsletters services. This is the data we gather:

  • E-mail address
  • Affiliation

Our website does not have the intention to gather data of website visitors younger than 16 years old, unless they have permission of parents or guardian. We cannot control wheter a visitor is older than 16 years old, so we recommend parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, to prevent the gathering of private information without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have gathered information without your consent about a minor, please contact us via tapas@ugent.be, and we will remove this information.

We have the following storage periods for all our data: all data will be stored for an indefinite period, until TAPAS/Thinking About the Past stops organizing activities and sending newsletters.
